Regenerative Peacebuilding in the Planetary Crisis

Thanks to the organizers of this year’s Environmental Peacebuilding Conference in The Hague for the opportunity to co-host a session on regenerative approaches to peacebuilding with Oscar Alvarado (LG Sonic). Grateful to have spent time with such a talented group of colleagues working at the intersection of the environment, peace and conflict. And for the insights from our participants, including:
-- Critical questions about how we can collectively go beyond sustainability and towards restoration in the face of widespread depletion of planetary resources
-- A call to learn from the changes already brought about by regenerative approaches in areas hardest hit by climate change
-- A reminder that none of our work can succeed without strong relationships and networks, and that this should be one of our measures of success
